I took the part I course. With my 12 year old son. It was fun. At no time it was positioned as "You are going to be ready to infiltrate the beach in Panama and kidnap evil dictator" kinda thing. It was only fun day to test your toughness a bit, learn to suppress your inner "fight or flight" response, stay calm under water without an air source and such. I liked it. I learned, for example, that I can stay under water longer then I previously thought and learned to fight the urge to breath. My son had some hard time with many drills which I think could be related to age and lung capacity. But I still think he learned a thing or two anyway. I liked the course and would recommend it depending on what you are trying to get out of it.
Oh, BTW, people in the course were in at least decent shape. Age (as far as I know) ranged from 12 to 41. I didn't notice anyone leaving disappointed.
