Headed to Cozumel in March, A couple of questions about Fiesta Americana

I was there all last week and it's pretty inform. You can go shorts/t-shirt or get a dressed up as you want. We ate at the italian place one night, and honestly wouldn't recommend it. The other two places to eat are both good. The don't carry a menu anymore and have good, fresh buffet food...

    Dive Ops Cozumel

I just finished 8 dives with scuba Mau and was very happy with them. I had my two sons (18 & 20) with me doing their first open water real dives too. I really liked the DMs and never had more then 6 total on the dive. They also had the most reasonable prices I could find. Between the three...

WOO HOO Just booked for 1/27-1/31

I am sitting on.the beach at fiesta americana as I type this. Did 8 dives over the previous 4 days in a 3mil full suit and was very comfortable. I wouldn't go any less unless you are very warm blooded. I don't get cold easily, but started to feel the temp at tje end of the shallow dives.

    Shore Dives locations

I am standing at the lobby bar at FA as I type this, unfortunately I am leaving Sat early afternoon. I did 8 dives over 4 trips with Scuba Mau and they were great and very reasonable. I didn't do any shore diving, but the money bar just up the road is a very popular snorkel place so I would...

Hello all...my family just booked a week long trip at the Fiesta Americana the last week of the year and I'm looking for some advice on a dive op. I'm an experienced diver with a few recent dives in PDC and Cozumel. Both of my sons (18 & 20) are going through their OW certification right now...

Heading to Playa del Carmen, best place to dive?

I went with Jason at Fantaseadive and was very impressed. He does small groups and caters to the divers in the group. Highly recommend him.

Playa, new diver, what gear to take?

I spent a week down there in February and took all my own gear. I figured I have it, I trust it and why not. Most airlines allow 2 checked bags for international flights so that shouldn't cost you any extra. The obvious hassle with carrying the extra bags might be a slight pain, but I still...

I was in PDC a couple of weeks ago and did my dives with Jason from fantaseadive. He arranged the ferry tickets, marine park entry fees, all equipment and lunch for the Coz trip. I did 6 ocean dives with him and 2 cenotes dives thru his shop and all of them were very small group and very...

    Diving Playa del Carmen

I spent a week south of Playa the middle of February and did my dives with Jason at Fantaseadive. All of us that dove with Jason were very impressed with his professionalism and personal dive service. We only had 4-5 divers in our group each day so that made each dive really fun and relaxed...

Leisure Pro now an authorized Zeagle dealer?

So, if LP and ST are both authorized Zeagle dealers, does that mean that stuff I buy from them will be servicable by my LDS which is also an authorized Zeagle dealer? I ask specifically because LP and ST both have the Escape for less that $340, and my LDS said that they can't go below $445 or...

    BC Recommendation/Info

I've been researching BCs online and in a few LDS. I've kind of narrowed it down to the Mares icon, Zeagle Escape or one that my LDS has - Amer Sea Guardian. I'm a "vacation diver" and would like to get into some more local diving. I live in Kansas City, MO (yeah, there are a few local...
