I went with PV Scuba last week and had a very good experience with them. They provided a 7mm wetsuit (in good shape, I should say), weights and steel tanks, otherwise I used my gear.

I have one, used it for about 12 dives, half fresh and half salt water. With a 7mm in salt water and a steel tank I had about 8lb in the rear pockets, and found myself going belly up if I wasn't careful. Never had such issue with a 3mm in fresh water. BTW, being a backlift BC I was expecting...

Yep, I dove with Ixtapa Aqua Paradise and they're a fine outfit. Bebe and Miguel were very helpful indeed. I was there in early July and we had a load of surge, but the Coral was well worth it. Vis was quite good in general except in the Caleta, where we had about 10 feet or less.

A couple of things on the Scout; I believe you can get a bigger wing and it isn't weight integrated, but rather has trim pockets in the back. Can't comment on the others, or on BP/W for that matter.

Anybody has seen a bungee mount for a Suunto SM16 Depth Gauge? Supposed there is a nylon strap available, but haven't found any pics or details on attachment method, and I would prefer a bungee set-up anyway. Cheers

Got them wet... found the BC to fit perfectly, snug and comfortable. The reg breathed a little hard in the surface, but I didn't notice any effort underwater, is this the balanced diaphragm effect? Very dry indeed, spent some time belly-up and I didn't have any water coming in.
