I would have passed that by thinking it was a rock!
 
Why did it release ink? I've seen loads of octupus and never seen one do so. I understand they only do that if they feel threatened. Not good.

:idk: :eek:ctopus:Octo was passed out from an all nighter on the reef. He passes out in the sand, unable to make it all the way home to the rocks. Noisy divers bubbles startles him and it's fight or flight.

Great video non the less.
 
That is an amazing video! Over a year ago I watched this video and have it saved as one of my favorites. The last minute of it had jaw-dropping footage of how clever the octopus really is.
