There are other o2 safe lubricants, but I have found Christolube the most widely available and cheapest (listed under OMS 02 lube on LP for about $25).

Ron Brandt once bubbled...
I am looking for a non diving related substitute that can be found anywhere. Still good for O2 thou.

I'm stumped...the only other one I have seen around is Krytox, and that ain't gonna be on the shelf at Safeway :).

You might try looking up local gas suppliers in your area in the yellow pages and calling them. They might either know of a product in your local area or be able to sell you something themselves.

You can get Christolube right from the manufacturer:

Lubrication Technology, inc.
7595 Gallia Pike
FRANKILNE FURNACE, OH 45629

TEL: 740-574-5150
FAX: 740-574-4980

Uh....... No....

Just go get some more Christolube...

See your other thread you started...

I gave info on manufacturer.

I think that if there was a cheap, readily available and safe alternative to Chrisolube, we'd be using it. But we're all using Christolube...
