Just watched video from pool session yesterday. Holy crap! My octo was out of the holder a ton of the time. I just ordered a necklace from DRIS to pick up when I get my Halcyon wing back from the inflator repair.

The hose looks a bit short, you may consider a 40" hose for ease of use if you go on it.

Just one of the ones that clips to your BC - elastic cord on a clip (the elastic cord goes around mouthpiece). The yellow rubber one (also clips to BC) was even worse.

First post-cert dives were with a couple of divers who apparently had gotten tired of octos not staying in the holders, so they folded octo hose into a U-shape and stuck that through the right hip D ring on their harness. I tried that then (worked well), but keep forgetting about it.
