Well, I spent nearly an hour in the pool yesterday with my brand spankin' new Express Tech Deluxe and the optional crotch strap.

It was my first experience using a crotch strap, and I'm pleased to report my crotch came through with flying colors. :D

I thrashed around a bit, swam face up, stood face down etc with and without the strap on and couldn't really tell the difference.

Obviously, I still have to try it out in open water under "real world" conditions. If I find I need it, great. If not, then I'll stick it back in the gear bag.

It's probably not adjusted properly. I can really tell if I don't use it. If the crotch strap is loose after you tighten your waist strap, it's too loose. It should be pulling the waist strap down an inch or so, so that the tighter you pull your waist strap, the tighter the crotch strap feels. It really locks in my Express tech/Backplate.

The option is available for the Zeagle Stiletto. Just never found a need for it. The Stiletto fits me just fine.
