I know everyone is super interested in my D trials and tribulations.

Got the D apart in about 4 mins, super easy. The seat looks rough. Lost my loupe so just gonna go buy another so I can inspect orifice and seat more closely. Looks like my spring pad might have a crack in it which could explain things(?)

The spring pad on the older Ds was much higher quality in both finish and material.
 
Under a loupe there is a nick in the seat. The orifice looks good.

@rsingler does the orifice edge sit in the slot on the seats outer edge or does it sit inwards closer to the stem on the flat surface? Cheers

I ditched mine in favour of an Atomic.

If your sticker is off I'd love to see a photo of where your hex key is sitting if it's not too much trouble. It seems mine and Lex's are way down compared to Robs. Thank you.

Will do on Thurs. Finally seeing Hamilton on Broadway tomorrow :)
