No, don't - but yeah.

i have had to pee right before boarding the boat (cause i'm an idiot, ok?) so i make sure i pull at the wetsuit around my ankles so some flushing occurs

but it is definitely better to pee with at least 10 to 15 minutes left in the water, at least

usually once i hit the water, i gotta pee ... don't ask me why. it's a reflex or something

while on the boat, things get dicier. i have managed to sit at the stern pretending to commute with the sea while in fact ...

And never go barefoot on a boat. Ewwww.

The 3 minute safety stop was devised as an excuse to pee. It's just off loading after all.

Truly! I generally feel the need every dive but always try to take advantage of that opportunity. It adds weight to the luggage, and needs to be packed inside a ziplock in case of leakage, but nice to spray the inside of your wetsuit...

That's a very typical psychological reaction and there have been studies on it. Some people, even when they feel like their bladder is going to make a new hole, simply can't pee in front of other people.
