Long hose (7 feet) setup ?

As for the 5' hose... I am 6'1", and it's all torso. Sue is 5'7", Kim is 5'8". We all have the same inseam. Keeping a 5' hose tucked in my waist belt isn't going to happen.

Unless you're 4' tall, why would you consider tucking a 5' hose? It just goes under your arm, up across your chest, and around the back of your neck. (For some larger people, this routing needs a 6' hose.)

I've never dove with a 5' hose, but this routing seems to me like it would be dangling down from my body, at least somewhat. I don't like things dangling at all.
 
I'm 5' 7", no dangling going on that I've ever noticed, either looking down or in pictures.
 
Under the waist strap and tucked to the right over the hip bone.
The last part locks it better in position (if I don't do that, it will come at least partially undone in my case).
Locking it over the hip bone sorts it out, even when riding a scooter.
It's entanglement-free, allows smooth, one-hand donation, and always works - regardless if you've got a can or not.
