If you can still get a flight, Bonaire is pretty reasonable over the holidays. We got Austin to Bonaire on AA on points over the holidays. AA inadvertently bumped all their passengers on the mid-week flights around Christmas before they realized they weren't dropping those flights until after New Years. That means some Wednesday - Thursday flights may still be available at possibly discounted prices. We also got the Yachtclub apartments for $60 for a fully equipped one bedroom apartment.
