I get what you're saying.. and I agree.
Criticism alone isn't beneficial to anyone. It's an ego-salve. However, there is a learning benefit to constructive criticism...a case study that engages debate and provides solutions and improvements.
Another factor to bear in mind is that this video features a class. I believe that instructors do warrant some criticism when there might be doubts that they're teaching to an acceptable standard.
The students are there to learn.. and can't be blamed if their instructor isn't setting them a high standard or teaching to a commonly acceptable level.
But an instructor who's decided to scribble their credit card details on an agency application form and take people's hard-earned money for tuition... in full knowledge that they haven't attained any semblance of expertise in the subject area... is very irresponsible. It demands commentary.
I agree, and I certainly do not see the students in a negative light. I personally have had my share of horrible dives which were entirely on me.
That instructor though. I am just flabbergasted at his performance and apparent low bar for success.
Right. Now I'm the troll. Funny son of a b*tch.
I like to think I'm a funny guy. I will be in Zurich next month for some work, let's have some beers. I am serious.
