"The reality is that, on the list of potential dangers encountered in aquatic recreation, sharks are right at the bottom of the list," said Burgess who was one of three scientists participating Tuesday in a National Sea Grant College Program and NOAA Fisheries sponsored press briefing on sharks and the risks of shark attacks at the National Press Club.


Well there still on the list :D :boom:! I think what happens is that those shows start saying that sharks are harmless and don't want to eat humans. But then what happens is that people start not fearing sharks, and i think that could start problems such as People provoking sharks and getting bitten. If people don't fear sharks??? why should they not hunt them??? Those shows are very interesting, but some of the scientists go a little out of hand.
