That is exactly what happened on our honeymoon, and we have the greatest adventures to relate because of it!!!! Imagine, walking up to a 4-star restaurant in Grand Cayman, barefoot, carrying your shoes. The restaurant had chairs lining the foyer, with small towels, so guests could sit, dry their feet, and put their shoes on!

In the Hyatt, there was a small "stream" moat that meandered through . . . the whole place flooded, and we were watching the koi trying to decide if they should escape, or not!

My husband, bound and determined to get his 18 holes of golf in . . . I gave up after nine . . . he was as soaked as if he'd jumped in the water, but happy!!!

We were on the second floor, but when we waded to breakfast . . . met a British couple that had been on the first floor. "At one o'clock in the morning, I was sleeping soundly, and they came pounding on my door. I jumped out of bed and went 'Splosh'!"

Every second was memorable, and mostly to do with the birth of Hurricane Leonard.

Damn he really wants that island to sink huh?

Our snowstorm just picked up. Really falling now.

Hell is being stuck at the Comfort Suites in Provo T&C during Hanna which went around and around and round the island. You can only watch so much Weather Channel and Judge Judy b4 you go insane. The highlight of the trip, after being stuck in a hotel with no power, thankfully, was walking down the beach and then having my daughter say, after we returned from a walking sandblasting down the beach... Well at least you weren't the idiots we saw walking down the beach in the storm... we never did fess up... Please keep it our secret...
