What is the PADI "deep" specialty?

Amazing, lots of people get interested in this particular dive. Maybe i did not phrase it right the first time. First of all, i knew what is going to happen on that dive. I did not dive with a computer but a dive watch. We did the necessary timing at how long are we staying at that depth etc...

What is the PADI "deep" specialty?

It depends on whether the student and instructor knows what they are doing clearly. It's no big deal going to 50 m on a tank of air as long as it's only for a taste of what tech diving is about. Besides, we did 4 safety stops on the way up. You can only last that long with a tank of air at 44...

What is the PADI "deep" specialty?

I guess everyone gets cranky about the deep spec cuz it's a waste of money. But for me, it was not, cuz i had a good instr that brought me for all the dives to 35-44 metres. He also brought me past 40 metres to get narked, it was fun as it made me realised that tech diving might be a good thing...

    could you take a look

Hi, I think dive suits are way too outdated. They should be in more colours. You could try these companies. Othree.co.uk in england and discuss it with Kevin and i think Fourth Element. They are more persuaded to try new stuff.

    PADI Specialities

Hi, I guess lots of new divers that took up diving are still as confused about all what they want to do. Honestly, diving is a fun sport. It's the way it's presented, which makes it confusing. It's a first thing that divers should ask, Do you want to go on teaching?? If you do or...

    Is 130 ft too deep?

You might want to consider doing the deep spec first. It's good to do a few more dives greater than 115 ft to ease you in at greater than 115 ft. You would learn to plan better and estimate your air consumption at that kind of depth. Sometimes, people fail to plan and run out of air.. you don't...

    Divemastering

Hi Jazz I just finish dm in australia. It's about 800 m snorkel swim with no hand strokes17 mins and up, 400 m swim with any stroke 12 mins and up, 20 mins treading with 2 mins hand out of water. 100 tired diver tow 2mins , and i think that's about it. It's not fun doing...

Hi I have not experience in Sydney but i read that Sydney has 2 good ones, Absyss which is quite good and the other i can't remember. The IE are held in either Sydney or Gold Coast. It's more or less the instructor will ask you to perform 1 out of the 18 skills required...

Inexperience resulted in OOA at 66 feet (long)

Hi, I see you made it out safe and good with two courses done. It's great and i understand the feeling of NOT diving in Canadian waters. It's so much warmer and we react better. I had an discussion whereby Mr Adams merely thought diving in Canadian waters does not necessarily make us better...
