Reason 293: Koh Hin Ngam
As the name implies, this little island, located in the Tarutao National Marine Park on the border with Malaysia, is home to beautiful round rocks about the size of a grapefruit. These rounded stones cover the beach. Many are of volcanic origin, so are dark, but there are agglomerations of white coral rocks as well. While you are down there visiting Koh Hin Ngam, it's worthwhile doing some dives from Koh Lipe.
