I have bought and sold a great many things on ebay and have only had a problem once. What you need to be careful about is sizing. You will never now it fits until you get it home and try it on. If it doesn't you have to deal with it.

I bought a drysuit and was very excited when it came in the mail. After trying it on I was very disappointed to find out it was way to big even though I asked the seller if it would fit several of my measurements.

Remember, buying scuba gear on ebay is a chance. You have a chance of getting a really good deal and you have a chance of getting a lemon.
