I got a Genesis Escort hoseless computer for $250 shipped. I ove it. It needed a new cover and a new battery in the transducer but other than that top notch. Also bought an IST titanium dive knife for $23 shipped. trying to get rid of my UK Blue tang SS knife.

It was too big for me.

As in WAAAAYYY too big. Sort of figured it might be - and I'm kinda glad it was!

Bought wifie a new DUI 350 last week from an LDS who would actually work with me on the price. More on this guy in another thread later. This guy rules.

Back to my DrySuit/tent.

There a lot of divers with the body type to fit this suit - barrel-chested, short legs, small feet - and this suit is in perfect condition with the Thinsulite undies, etc.... the whole 9. I put it back up on eBay last week with better pictures, a better listing and more thorough discription than the person who originally listed it provided, when I paid $455. I sold the package for $1260 this week (still a great, great buy for a custom-cut suit outfit.)

With that sale, I bought new-in-the-box DUI 50/50 for $860 off eBay, and will have enough left over for custom comfy undies from Uncle Pug (the supermodel)'s source, and the classes so my wife and I don't get killed in these things.

eBay rules.

Was that you who outbid me on the XL 50/50? :upset:

I'm currently buying a new Typhoon drysuit off eBay. There's a whole stack in various sizes. There is an XL TLS350 on there at the moment I was looking at, but I think it will be too short for me.

Just received the drysuit. It is ancient and has a oral inflator and no exhasut valve. I will try to return it, we will see. This is the only product that I have had any problems with.

I just bought a new Typhoon (aka Sea Elite?) front entry trilam suit with suspenders and latex seals, for $549 from Divers Supply via eBay. With the option to exchange for a different size if it doesn't fit correctly. $549 versus $784 on their website! I figured I might go with a cheaper drysuit for my first one, and spend money for a really nice custom one later on once I know what I do and don't like about drysuits, and relegate this one to a backup suit. I was going to get a Bare ATR, but couldn't beat the price on the Typhoon. The only thing I'm wary of is the fixed neoprene boots instead of neoprene socks, but I figure I'll live with that for the price.

Now I just need some undies, pockets and a drysuit course! Going to get the SeaSoft undies from WA.

I bought am OS Systems Nautilus suit described as "dove 10 times." It arrived yesterday. As the seller claimed, it's in perfect condition except for the seals. I think I can get away with the wrist seals but I will definitey have to get the neck seal replaced due to a slight rip and some degradation of the rubber. I would have had to replace it anyway since the previous owner had a larger neck than me.

All this was expected. I exchanged several rounds of email with the seller before placing my bid.

I paid $350 for the suit, bag, two sets of undies, boots and an inflator hose. The suit fits as if it was made for me. I will report back on how it works out in the water after I get the neck seal replaced and take it for a spin.

Diving Concepts UltraFlex Pro. All black. Brand new in bag with whip, hood, and manual. Never dove. $750.00 delivered off Ebay. Awsome drysuit.

Made with what appears to be the same material as the DUI CLX450, but the entire suit is made of this rugged material. Crushed neoprene where the boots attach to the suit.... for added flex in that area. After adjusting suspenders, and suited up with BP harness (crotch strap in place), it fits like a glove.

I was concerned that the sizing charts were off on the website, as it showed me perfectly in a size large, and at first I thought the suit felt a tad too small. But, after making adjustments, etc., I am convinced the manufacturer was dead on with the charts. I am stoked. And the fit is near perfect.

The suit retails for over double this price.

Had some good and bad ones. When I started I bought a pair of pursuit fins ($46)with a mask and snorkel. Mask always fogs on right lense, no matter what I try. Fins replaced (personal choice) with a pair of rocket fins($25) also off e-bay. One strapped broke, Replaced strap. When I was in the pool the fin cracked/split. So bad I could use them any more.
Bought new snorkel($15), used gloves($8)(didn't fit right, but was the company sizing)Pair boots for my wife($20). Great and their pink. She loves them. New mares BC(130). love it. 6.5 mm wet suit($85) suit to long but can deal with it,also found out I hate front zipper suits.New Dive knife($25)New ocean master knife($13) Hasn't come in yet. New low profile mask black(25). Wife thought it looked cool, wasn't, Used mask with akona carring bag for mask and defog($11) awesome. Neoprean soft weight belt($20) replaced plastic buckle with stainless steel. and last, used Steel 80 tank with din valve($185) didn't come back from hydro yet. Looks great and again it's pink.

I just got the drysuit I bought on eBay. The LDS kept trying to sell me an O'Neil 7000X drysuit for $700, even though I kept telling them I could not afford to pay that much to dive dry. Well, I saw the same suit on eBay and manged to pick it up for a total cost with shipping of around $175. It looks to be in good condition. At most, I may need to replace the wrist seals. I plan to take it to a dive shop with a pool to check it out in the next week or two.
