That is probably because you may be taking the statement too personally. Padi is formost a recreational diving organization. If i had to guess 90% or better of students do not proceed beyond AOW. As such they teach to that market. Take IANTD on the other hand and they teach to a targeted group that will most likely move onto technical levels of diving. Do both teach OW and tech level courses. Sure .... Padi's heart is in rec dive training. And Iantd is in the tech world. You would have to agree that padi does not do much globally beyond master diver and nitrox. I can randomly pick a dozen padi instructors and one of the bunch can teach beyond the basic recreational courses. Not so with many other agencies as they are rooted in more advanced diving.
I have no idea where your $$$$$ comes from. My comments were directed in that nitrox is a popular course in any agency and that padi is not going to pass up the opportunity to teach a course that is a money maker. They teach the class as if it is the last class a diver will ever take. Other agencies Will teach nitrox as if it is the start of a training pipeline. For many agencies nitrox is to them as OW is to padi.

This is pretty much absurd.
As someone who is certified to teach technical diving courses for PADI through trimix, I have no idea where you get the idea that PADI has no interest in making technical divers out of anyone. If have no such interest, why do they offer technical classes?
As for your ($$$$$) implication, are you telling me that instructors for other agencies are not paid for the classes they teach? I teach for TDI as well, and it may shock you to learn that I am just as interested in getting paid when I teach a TDI class as when I teach a PADI class.
