Thanks, I'll check out Little River. I've never dove there before. Does it have a large cavern area?
Alexander Springs allowed solo diving four years ago when I was there but that is farther south than I wanted to go on this trip.
Does anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks,
Randy
I will be in the High Springs, FL area next month and was wondering if there were any areas open to solo diving. I know the state parks don't allow it. Are there any other areas that do? I'm mostly interested in diving springs and doing limited cavern penetration. I am cavern certified and the...

Thanks. What are some good areas to dive on Lake Lanier? Do you know of anyone that will be diving up there next weekend I could meet up with to show me around?
Thanks again,
Randy
I just bought an Oxycheq Signature Series 45# single tank wing from www.covci.com last week for $305. I don't think you'll find anything of comparable quality at any lower price (new). I used it this past weekend and loved it.

Which of the FL springs have the best cavern dives? I've done Ginnie, Madison Blue, and Alexander Springs. They were all good but I'm looking to try something different.
Thanks,
Randy :beerchug:

Now for the bad news. I've had a last minute change of plans and won't be able to make it to...
That sounds pretty close to me, based on my understanding of the calculations. I made my own spreadsheet for calculating SAC a few months ago. When I plugged in your numbers, it came up with a SAC of 0.48. Why do you think 0.45 is too low?
Thanks for the information. Are specific areas of the river better than others? Or do all the charters cover the same dive spots? If anyone has any recent dive reports I would like to hear them.
Hi,
I've been wanting to dive the Cooper River for a while now and was wondering which charter service would be the best to use. I was thinking of using Cooper River Dive Charters based out of Goose Creek, SC. Has anyone used them or have recommendations for other charters? I've read most...
That sounds interesting. Can you give us some more information? What sort of diving conditions are normal for Lake Lanier? When was the lake impounded and what type of structures are you talking about? I am about 2.5-3 hours away but I could make it for a weekend here and there if given...
