    diving brownstone week days?

Greetings, Anyone diving brownstone during the day this month (July)? I'm looking to buddy up. I went down there one day last week and there wasn't anyone to dive with. I had a nice time snorkeling, but I'm looking to do some scuba. The park is looking better every time I visit. Well done!

Official Launch of my Website !

Ed, Your site is great! Thanks for doing it. I always enjoy seeing the photos that you post on the board. As for the calendar, I would definitely buy one. How about cafepress.com? As I understand it, they handle the manufacturing, shipping and order-taking. You get paid for every one...

free vintage steel cylinder in CT

Folks, I have a steel cylinder that I picked up at a flea market two years ago. I'm moving; I'd like to get rid of it. I'll be glad to give it free to anyone that comes to get it here in Hartford, CT. PM me for more information. Here's a description of the tank. The top is stamped 7/69...

    Lobstering In Ct

Captain Saam's boat, the Silver Dolphin runs thursday night lobster diving charters out of Norwalk. It's a good time. I'd suggest posting this question over in the New England Lobstah Divahs section for more information on other places for lobstering.

a thread ALL locals should read.

I missed this thread the first time around. I thank the recent commentors for bringing it up again, if only so I could see this guy's post. I sometimes feel the desire to correct someone's grammar or spelling. I thank ShakaZulu for showing all just how jerky it looks. Thanks! The guy's...

    Possible dive on June 14?

Eagle, If you're willing to drive to Cape Ann, MA (not too far from the Hartford area, maybe two hours?) Cape Ann Divers has a 10 AM Captain's Choice scheduled for both Wednesdays. If you want less of a drive, Orbit Divers in Bridgeport, CT has Wednesday morning dives scheduled on their...

Suggestion New Hampshire and Vermont are not in New England!

When I logged onto ScubaBoard this morning, I saw: "Lobsta Divahs do it for the claws. This chapter includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont." Yes! Thanks SB for reuniting New England divers.

    Shore diving near Clinton, CT

Hey guys, There was a short but informative thread on Hammonasset not too long ago: http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=106362&highlight=hamonasset I'd be interested in hearing about any other Connecticut sites.

    Open heel or full fin?

Yeah, I agree. I think I'll bring along my favorite full-foots on my next warm water trip (won't be for a while, though; we're buying a house!). Locally, it's open-heel and the 7mm boot, even for snorkeling!

    Open heel or full fin?

What about the argument that full-foot fins are less suitable for scuba because of some perceived lack of propulsion? I don't subscribe to this theory, but I've heard reputable divers claim it to be true.

    Divers and Motorbike riders

Any scooterists here? I ride a 2005 150cc 2-stroke Genuine Stella, manufactured in India by LML. It's basically a Vespa PX-150 with a few changes. My wife has a Vespa et-2.

Suggestion New Hampshire and Vermont are not in New England!

Not a good reason, though. :-) What about Lake Champlain? It's on my list of places to dive soon. Granted, there are no lobsters, but the New England Lobsta Divahs board is about diving in our region. It's not just about the bugs! Obviously, Vermont and New Hampshire divers aren't staying...
